RSA 170-H:3 Juvenile Parole Board.

There shall be a juvenile parole board with 5 members and 2 alternate members. The members and alternate members of the board shall be appointed by the governor with the consent of the council for staggered terms of 5 years or until their successors are appointed. An alternate member may attend any hearing of the juvenile parole board but may only vote in the absence of a member. A vacancy on the board shall be filled by an alternate member designated by the chairman for the unexpired term. No member shall serve more than 2 consecutive terms. The governor shall designate one member as chairman, and the chairman shall designate one other member to serve as chairman in his or her absence. At least 3 members of the board shall be present at all meetings and 3 members shall constitute a quoru
